1- Add Hardware Parameters

Let’s add a set of hardware components to your doors. First, add a parameter for each component. For this example, we’ll start with a few parameters:

Each parameter can be a text-based, instance-based parameter. To ensure that they are all together, you can group the parameter under a particular category. In this case, we use “Materials and Finishes”.

When you choose a door, it is important to see the new hardware parameters in its properties.
