The advantage is the streamlining and simplifying of applications SnapAll dependencies that an app might need are included in the bundle. FlatpakOn the other side, there is an alternative system that is equally well-rounded in functionality. The primary advantage is its universality and nuanced management of your dependencies.
Use the below commands to install and configure both Snap FlatpakBefore you proceed to the next step.
Install Snap in Pop!_OS
$ sudo apt-install snapd $ snap install hello-world && hello-world
Install Flatpak in Pop!_OS
$ sudo apt-install flatpak $ flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
5. GNOME Software can spice things up
The GNOMESoftware is the undisputed leader in GUI application repositories. This is because of the GNOMEPlatform is one of many Linux-based distributions that use it to spice up their offering in terms of operating systems.
To install, use the command below GNOME Software (provided you’ve preconfigured Flatpak).

6. Timeshift Backup

$ sudo apat install timeshift y
7. GNOME Tool Tweak

$ sudo apat install gnome-tweaks
8. Install Proprietary Fonts and Codecs
In order to enjoy maximum comfort and media support on your system, you need proprietary codecs that don’t come by default. The following command will add extra fonts to your system.
$ sudo apt install ubuntu-restricted-extras
9. Allow Minimize and Maximize
This part of your system configuration requires that you’ve fulfilled the prerequisite of step number 7. The emphasis on enabling minimize or maximize is tied to the traditional desktop experience with other systems.
